Ron comes from a big family, all of which are wizards and witches. He doesn't have much money, and sometimes gets made fun of for that. He is Harry's best friend.

Hedwig is Harry's white owl, who serves as a mail deliverer and friend.

Cho Chang is a pretty girl, who's Quidditch position is Seeker for the Ravenclaw team. Cho is one year older than Harry, and is Harry's secret crush. She's also Cedric Diggory's crush. Cho is quite smart, and is quite popular as well.

Colin Creevey
Colin is a tiny, mousey-looking boy. He is a year younger than Harry and sort of idolizes him, much to Harry's annoyance. Colin tends to take a lot of pictures of Harry, another great annoyance. He is Muggle-born, and has one younger brother, who is also a wizard.

*nods to Harr* Oh, that's good! Well, I hope it's something a little more... err... well, something we can all handle well. Honestly, it's not that I don't like Hagrid's lessons, I think I'd just like some creature that doesn't try to bite our fingers off while we try to care for it.

Oh, honestly, how could you just sit around on a day like this? We've got work to do! I've just finished my Potions assignment, and I'm starting our Transfiguration essay... I hope I described how you transfigure a mouse into a kiwi fruit well enough... honestly, I'm a bit upset that mine had a few extra whiskers when I actually did it. *sighs a bit*

Hmm... *sits down in a chair beside Ron and proceeds to stick her nose into a book (not literally :P)* I wonder how much we have to cover, I hope I'll be able to fill up 2 rolls of parchment... last time I only used one and three-quaters of a roll!
